The Production Machine Operator position requires performing repetitive work station or line production operations to mass produce products onto a pallet by performing the following duties:
produce product, label, pack, and stack.
The employee will receive materials in production workplace and verify inventory from forklifts using a computerized warehouse management system as well as maintain accurate inventory through use of warehouse management system for prompt, timely, and accurate deliveries to customers.
The Production Machine Operator will attend informational, training, safety, and compliance meetings as scheduled.
Function within the guidelines of the Lube-Tech Team Ground Rules and Mission StatementPerform processes to complete bottle filling assemblies and sub-assembly machinesFollow written instructions on the Production Work Ticket (PWT) for the production of various productsGather raw material needed for producing product, help set-up production line, and produce sample for quality inspectionUpon inspection approval, produce product, label, pack, and load grouped orders onto palletsReport defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisorMaintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulationsDocument performance of production line using SFC and QC worksheetsPerforms prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as requiredComplete tasks as directed by production schedules with minimum supervisionUtilize all material handling equipment safely, efficiently, perform all required safety checks and communicate need for repairsPackage bulk material as required by a PWT for replenishmentAccept schedule and direction when there are changes in workloadsPerform other duties as requiredAttend monthly departmental and production meetingsMinimal travel required for this position, e.

High School diploma or GEDExperience/Training:
1 year of related production line experience and forklift operator experienceMust have a good command of the English language and the ability to read, communicate and understand written instructionsTroubleshoot mechanical problems on the production line as they occurUnderstanding of KPMs and manufacturing packaging line processesGeneral Quality & Safety AwarenessUnderstanding of Lean PrinciplesAbility to read and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS)Basic mathematical abilitiesMechanical aptitudeTechnology/Equipment:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
