Job description We are seeking a motivated individual with leadership skills to join our company.
The assembly department lead is the point of contact for employees who have questions regarding project details and the assembly of machines.
This person must be a hands-on lead and step in to help assemble as needed.
This is a fast-paced work environment where you have to be flexible in multitasking.
Responsibilities Lead by example Address and resolve problems/issues in a timely manner.
Assigning jobs for the day to each employee, assuring the employee has everything to perform the job.
Keeping a safe / neat clean organized work area To mentor and build a team that meets and or exceeds Quality and Productivity standards.
To standardize work practices within the area Inventory accuracy.
Other duties assigned by your supervisor.
Qualifications 5
years of working in an assembly environment.
Excellent knowledge of department equipment and tooling.
Reading and following written procedures.
Reading blueprints and performing all necessary work.
Quickly and efficiently completing jobs with very little rework.
Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to the mission Job Type:
