Lead Preschool 1 Teacher with Crystal's Cuddle Bugs Childcare Program Are you a passionate and experienced early childhood educator looking for an opportunity to lead and inspire young minds? Crystal's Cuddle Bugs Childcare Program is seeking dedicated individuals with a strong background in early childhood education to join our team as a Lead Preschool 1 TeacherAs a Lead Preschool 1 Teacher with Crystal's Cuddle Bugs Childcare Program, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for children, guiding, and mentoring other staff members, and fostering a love of learning in our studentsKey Responsibilities for Lead Preschool 1 Teacher with Crystal's Cuddle Bugs Childcare Program:
Classroom Leadership:
Lead and manage a classroom of young learners age 2.
5-5, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and enriching environment for all childrenCurriculum Development:
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that align with our curriculum goals and encourage children's social, emotional, and cognitive developmentSupervision and Mentoring:
Provide guidance and support to assistant teachers and aides, fostering a positive and collaborative work environmentChild Assessment:
Observe and assess children's progress, identifying individual needs and developing strategies to support their growthParent Communication:
Establish strong partnerships with parents and guardians, keeping them informed about their child's progress and classroom activitiesTeam Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with other lead teachers and center administrators to ensure the smooth operation of the childcare programClassroom Management:
Implement effective classroom management techniques, promoting positive behavior and conflict resolutionSafety and Compliance:
Adhere to all safety regulations and licensing requirements, maintaining a clean and secure environment for the childrenQualifications for Lead Preschool 1 Teacher with Crystal's Cuddle Bugs Childcare Program:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field strongly preferredAssociate's degree or 28 credits in early childhood education or relevant fields, including art, psychology, sociology, teaching, etc.
, will also be consideredChild Development Associate (CDA) credential will be accepted in lieu of formal educationMinimum of 2 years of experience working in an early childhood education setting is preferred but not requiredStrong knowledge of child development theories, early childhood education principles, and best practicesDemonstrated ability to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young childrenExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, parents, and staffPassionate about early childhood education and committed to the growth and development of young learnersAbility to motivate and inspire both staff and students to reach their full potentialAdditional Information for Lead Preschool 1 Teacher with Crystal's Cuddle Bugs Childcare Program:
Compensation for the Lead Teacher position ranges from $18.
85/hour to $22.
56/hour, commensurate with experience in the industry and with Cuddle Bugs, and educationNew external hires can expect starting pay within the range of $18.
85/hour to $20.
